Welcome to China pharmaceutical University (CPU).
Of the 1,731 universities in China, CPU is among the 72 national universities under Ministry of Education in China. Growing out of ˇ°National School of Pharmacyˇ±, the first 4-year national school of pharmaceutical sciences set up independently in 1936, CPU has become the largest multi-disciplinary university in China focusing on pharmaceutical sciences and incorporating science, engineering, economics, business, and arts. It enrolls 2,500 undergraduates and 500 postgraduates every year.
CPU is the home of six schools and four departments: School of Pharmacy, School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, School of Bio-Science and Technology, School of International Pharmaceutical Business, School of Continuing Education, School of Vocation; Department of Basic Sciences, Department of Foreign Languages, Department of Social Sciences, Department of Physical Education. Students can choose from a vast array of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
